WDA virtual conference December 4, 5, and 6 2020

Information and Instructions.

This conference will have topics of interest for patients and the medical community.  On Friday, you will hear from Wilson Disease Association leadership to open the conference.  Eve Roberts, M.D., Ph.D., FRCPC,  will present on the History of Wilson disease.  We will have a presentation on Covid-19 and Wilson disease patients.  To top off Friday, some of our pharma sponsors will introduce their companies in a high level introduction.  We may learn about the type of research their company is doing or treatment they hope to bring to the table and how it may affect our patients.

The remainder of the conference time will be spent on presentations on research, presentations on our Patient Registry research and a section on patient issues.

I am sorting our members’ first name, last name and email addresses from our database and supplying them to the platform. Shortly before the conference, the platform will be emailing instructions and a unique code to enter the conference. Often times we have a group membership but our database only has contact information for the person that bought it. If you are one of those memberships please contact me with your additional names and email address to include with the others.

For example, your spouse bought a basic plus membership but I don’t have your email address too.

The conference platform admits people by their email addresses and will only let one email address be used for one viewer at a time.   

Instructions for Registration:

The Registrant is the person paying for the ticket(s).  If the Registrant wants to attend he should check the box indicating that they wish to be an attendee.  The Registrant should have a unique email address for each person they are purchasing a ticket for.  Once you are registered you will receive an automated email confirming the transaction.  At some time before the conference, each attendee will be sent via the email used to purchase your admission, a unique code to enter the conference.  We strongly suggest that you arrive early to familiarize yourself with where things are and to visit the help desk if you have a technical issue.  Please Watch the Wilson disease association website for additional announcements.
